Vocal Lessons NEW!!!

Our vocal program will consist of focusing on four key areas of vocal and music techniques. Both Group Classes and Private Coaching Available!

The first area will concentrate on note recognition and sight reading music.  Our Mini and Petite students will follow Gregory Blankenbehler’s Singing Lessons for Little Singers which is a voice, ear-training, and sight singing program for children.  Our Junior and Senior students will utilize the Andy Beck Sing at First Sight Program which will introduce music reading concepts and reinforces those concepts with rhythm and pitch exercises. The second area will include warm up and vocal preparation, giving the students techniques to prepare their voices for singing, in order to ensure proper vocal health and wellness. The third area will place emphasis on musicality and precision in singing the chosen pieces for each group. The final area will concentrate on performance art, and will be showcased twice a year, at our holiday and end of year recitals. Students will have the opportunity to audition for the optional Spring Musical as an additional opportunity to showcase our dance, vocal, and stage production talents in a single setting.
