LOCATION
Steps Dance Center @ Townelake is located in the Town Lake Village Center at 1025 Rose Creek Parkway in Woodstock, Georgia. Our telephone number is 770-516-1363.

We offer three dance classrooms equipped with floating floors, viewing windows and closed circuit TV for class observation. All of our instructors receive extensive training before they ever enter the classroom, and are monitored and updated in teaching techniques regularly.

DANCE SESSION
Steps Dance Center runs on a school year calendar from August 11th-May 24th. Please call the studio to check for closings during inclement weather.  Each class is guaranteed to meet at least 34 times per year. Classes are not prorated for holidays. See our studio calendar
Final day to register for 2008- February 1, 2008

MISSED CLASSES
Any missed classes can be made up within 2 weeks in a similar level class. Please check with the office to set this up. No refunds or reductions are made for missed classes. Please do not make a habit of missing class as this will put the student behind. Missed classes must be made up one week prior to or after missed class!
Classes are guaranteed to meet at least 34 times per year. Months with holidays are not prorated.

ENROLLMENT
Class enrollment is limited. If the class you would like becomes full before you register, we will put you on a waiting list. Creative Movement class ratio is 8 to 1. 3-5 year old class ratio is 10-1. Kindergarten through High School is 13 to 1.

WITHDRAWAL
A withdrawal form must be completed 15 days prior to withdrawal. You will continue to be billed if we are not notified. Most of our classes have a waiting list, so please let us know in advance. You are obligated for tuition until you properly withdraw.

CLASS ATTIRE

Creative Mov't Classes (21/2-3) Pink Ballet Shoes, Any Color Leotard, Pink Or Tan Tights.

Pre-Tap/Ballet & Kinder Combo Classes: Pink Ballet Shoes, Black Tap Shoes, Tap Ties for tap shoes, Any Color Leotard, Pink Or Tan Tights. Skirts may be worn as long as they are transparent. Please wear your hair in a ponytail or a bun.

Combo Classes Ballet/Tap/Jazz: Pink Ballet Shoes, Tan Mary Jane Tap Shoes, Tan lace up jazz shoe. Pink or tan tights. Any leotard or dance attire. Jazz pants may be worn as long as they are not baggy. Skirts may be worn as long as they are transparent. No T-Shirts or Shorts. Please wear hair in a ponytail or a bun.

Ballet Classes: Pink Ballet Shoes, Solid Color Leotard, Pink Tights, skirts are ok as long as they are sheer.

Tap Classes: Tan Mary Jane Tap Shoes, Any leotard or dance attire. Form fitting jazz pants may also be worn in class. Skirts may be worn as long as they are transparent. Please wear hair in a ponytail or a bun. No T-Shirts or Shorts.

Jazz/ Hip Hop  Classes: Tan lace up Shoes,tan tights, any leotard or dance attire. Form fitting jazz pants may be worn in class. Skirts may be worn as long as they are transparent. No T-Shirts or Shorts. Please wear hair in a ponytail or bun.

Boys wear a white t-shirt with black dance pants or black bike shorts. See instructor on shoe color

Dressing for Class
Tap and Jazz may wear jazz dance pants over leotard or sportsbra.
Students must wear proper dance attire to classes. T-Shirts, shorts and jeans are not allowed. Students need to wear their hair up and away from their face. Do not wear jewelry in class with the exception of studded earrings. Older students wear a "cover up" to and from class. No candy or gum allowed in class.
